We felt like part of the family - the hosts treated us like their own. The grounds were stunning, with beautiful flowers and birds. We even got to explore a cocoa plantation and taste the fruit and dried cocoa. The dinner and beer were amazing, and we enjoyed fishing by the ponds. it was a peaceful and unforgettable experience.
Felt privileged, no complaints.

The location of the hotel was perfect for a peaceful and relaxing stay. The surrounding gardens were beautiful and well-maintained. Additionally, the breakfast served at the hotel was delicious and satisfying, providing a great start to the day. Plus, the hotel allowed us to use their kitchen and fridge, which was convenient and helpful.
The WiFi signal in the cabins was weak and often didn't reach our rooms. This made it difficult to stay connected and use the internet.

Our stay at Rincon Verde was absolutely mind-blowing! Victor, Elizabeth, and Gran were incredibly helpful and accommodating, even picking us up when we arrived by bus. Although they don't speak English, we managed to communicate through phone translator apps. The highlight was when they showed us how they process chocolate from the pod to a delicious cup of chocolate milk. The food, although plain, was delicious and made with fresh ingredients. The cabins were clean and comfortable, with a great breakfast provided. The surroundings were tranquil and full of nature, with beautiful gardens, ponds, and an abundance of birds and frogs. Victor gave us great suggestions, including a visit to Canu Negra, a stunning nature resort. a super location, clean cabins, friendly staff, and a memorable experience!

The location of our stay was perfect for a romantic escape. Surrounded by nature, we enjoyed the peacefulness and serenity of the beautiful garden and ponds right in front of our cabins. The abundance of birds and frogs added to the enchanting atmosphere. the hospitality of the hosts was exceptional. They went out of their way to make our stay memorable. We were treated like family, and their home-cooked dinners were absolutely delicious.
One drawback was the lack of tea and coffee making facilities in the cabins. It would have been nice to have the option to make a warm beverage in the morning or enjoy a cup of tea in the evening.

The location was perfect, right in the middle of nature. The cabins were clean and surrounded by beautiful gardens and ponds. It was amazing to wake up to the sound of birds and see them fluttering around. The host, Victor, was incredibly helpful and friendly. His wife's dinners were delicious and saved us the hassle of finding restaurants in the evening. Plus, there is a small swimming pool being built to make the place even better.
The wifi signal didn't reach the cabins, which was a bit inconvenient. , the road leading to the property was absolutely terrible.

I had such a peaceful and remote experience at Rincon Verde. The beautiful gardens and tranquil setting made me feel like I was in a hidden paradise. The cabins were rustic but comfortable, and I enjoyed the privacy they offered. Being on a cacao farm was a unique touch, and I couldn't resist indulging in their delicious chocolate bars. The meals were simple but absolutely delicious. The abundance of birds and even a resident sloth added to the charm of this place. Despite the rain, the Rio Celeste waterfalls and park were absolutely spectacular. I highly recommend visiting Rincon Verde for a unique and relaxing getaway.
The road to get to Rincon Verde was quite challenging, especially if you don't have a 4WD vehicle. The rocky road from Tamarindo took about an hour and was one of the worst roads I've ever encountered.
